Meanwhile, Grand Teton National Park’s September visitation data remains unavailable due to the federal government shutdown, and October numbers may face the same fate. The most recent figures, from August, show 735,593 recreational visits, a 2.6% increase from August 2024 and the park’s busiest August on record, edging past August 2017.
For the fiscal year ending August 2025, 3,730,599 visitors entered the park—4.8% more than the previous year. While visitation hasn’t returned to the pandemic surge levels, the upward trend is unmistakable.
