Celebrate the 4th of July in Jackson Hole
There’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day than Jackson Hole. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, our mountain town combines classic Americana with unforgettable Western charm. Whether you're a local or visiting for the holiday weekend, Jackson's Fourth of July celebration offers something for everyone—from pancakes and parades to live music and spectacular fireworks.
Start the Day with a Community Tradition
Kick off your Independence Day with the beloved Jackson Hole Lions Club Pancake Breakfast on Town Square. It's the perfect way to fuel up before a full day of festivities while enjoying the friendly community atmosphere that makes Jackson so special.
Don't Miss the Iconic Fourth of July Parade
One of the highlights of the holiday is the annual Fourth of July Parade through downtown Jackson. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the parade features colorful floats, marching groups, local organizations, classic vehicles, performers, horses, and plenty of hometown pride. Grab your favorite spot along the route early and enjoy one of Jackson Hole's most cherished traditions.
Live Music All Weekend Long
The celebration extends beyond the parade with fantastic live music in Teton Village.
July 3
- Steely Dead
- Special guest Brock Gleeson Band
- Fireworks following the concert
July 4
- 6pm: Honey Island Swamp Band at Teton Village
- Fireworks immediately following the performance
- OR if you're in town, 7pm Patriotic Pops by the Grand Teton Music Festival at Center for Arts lawn
The concerts are a great way to spend the evening while soaking in incredible mountain views and festive holiday energy.
End the Night with Fireworks
No Fourth of July is complete without fireworks, and Jackson Hole offers not one—but two—spectacular displays.
Watch the sky light up over Snow King Mountain at sunset, or head to Teton Village for fireworks following the evening concert. Both locations provide unforgettable views set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tetons.
Celebrate America 250 in Jackson Hole
This year's celebration is especially meaningful as communities across the country begin commemorating America's 250th birthday. Jackson Hole's blend of Western heritage, community spirit, and stunning natural beauty makes it one of the most memorable places in the country to celebrate Independence Day.
